Diamond Supply Co. was founded in 1998 when Nicholas Tershay (aka Nick Diamond) created a skateboarding hardware line from his humble one-bedroom apartment in San Francisco. In 2000, he moved to Los Angeles and began building Diamond Supply Co. in Mike Carroll and Rick Howard’s legendary Girl Skateboards distribution house, a move which allowed Diamond to achieve wider distribution and brand awareness both at home and overseas.

Soon the company was offering a full range of skateboard hard and soft goods, including bolts, bearings, T-shirts, fleeces and accessories. Diamond Supply Co. was quickly embraced by skaters in the US, and it has gone on to become one of the world’s most powerful streetwear brands, endorsed by US rappers and celebs such as Curren$y, Rick Ross and Odd Future.

In 2005, Nike Skateboarding asked Nick to design his own signature Diamond Nike SB Dunk, which quickly became one of the most sought-after sneakers of all time, and the following year the company opened its flagship store in the historic Fairfax neighborhood of Los Angeles. Two more stores are soon to open in flagship locations in San Francisco and in SoHo in downtown New York City.

Diamond Supply Co. has an elite team roster featuring some of the most legendary names in skateboarding including Gino Iannucci, Julien Stranger, J.B Gillet, Paul Rodriguez, Eric Koston, Stevie Williams, Torey Pudwill, Nyjah Huston and Sean Malto. It even includes a couple of the UK’s finest exports – Croydon’s Paul Shier and Oxford Don Tom Penny.
