Krew

Krew (styled as ‘KR3W’) is a skateboard apparel company based in Fountain Valley, California. The brand was founded by Angel Cabada, Scott Bailey and Scott VanDerripe in 2002 – all three had worked in the skate apparel industry for more than a decade before the launch, with Cabada making a name for himself as the founder of TSA Apparel. KR3W is distributed by One Distribution, along with its sister brand, skate footwear company Supra.

Krew relies on a roster of top skateboarders to promote its edgy styles – the company’s team features Chewy Cannon, Lucien Clarke, Erik Ellington, Spencer Hamilton, Windsor James, Boo Johnson, Bjorn Johnston, Terry Kennedy, Lizard King, Tom Penny, Kevin Romar and Dane Vaughn. Andrew Reynolds, the inspiration for KR3W’s first signature slim pant, left the company in 2006 for Altamont.

It was KR3W’s distinctive tight fit jeans that originally put the company on the map, but it now makes five different denim fits – Skinny, Slim, Taper, Klassic and Relaxed – in a variety of colours. The KR3W catalogue also features seven styles of pants – the K Slim 5 Pocket, K Slim 5 Pocket Cord, K Slim Chino, K Slim Kr3wzers, K Slim Taper Chino, K Slim Trenches and the Klassic Chino.

And its not only trousers that KR3W offers – the current collection also includes shorts, knits, wovens, outerwear, sweaters, fleeces, T-shirts and accessories such as caps, beanies, bags, socks and watches. Most KR3W products feature the company’s signature ‘K’ logo on a small patch somewhere on the item.
