CTRL clothing opens a big exhibition tomorrow, Tue July 17th, at the Design Museum in Helsinki. The exhibition maps out the brands 17 year history, or at least one take on it. Originally started as Control Skateboards in 1995, the brand has a long legacy and played an integral part in the Finnish and European skate scene in the late 90′s- early 00′s. The exhibition concentrates heavily on the visual representations of the brand’s clothing in photography and graphics. During the show, all Control’s videos, which were in their own league in terms of production values at the time among the Scandinavian skate videos, will be looping at the show and screened on Tuesday, July 17th, starting at 17:00 at the Design Pavilion next door. Later on on Tuesday, Daerra will play a live gig at the Pavilion.
