If it wasn’t for the fact that they were sharing their parts with Americans we would probably have somehow tried to fit Gustav Tønnessen, Anton Myhrvold, Jonas Skröder and Nisse Ingemarsson somewhere in this list as well (although that would have made limiting it to a top ten basically impossible). Each and everyone of the Sweet dudes had incredible footage in Stee but nothing could match the pleasure of finally seeing Erik J Pettersson come through with “The Part”. By this I mean the one all of his fans had been waiting for all these years, the one one that would finally do his skating justice and put him on the map.
The only reason why I haven’t mentioned Javier Sarmiento yet is simply because with him you know what to expect. Yes it was indeed mind-blowing, but no it did not come as a surprise. Every part he puts out becomes an instant classic, kind of like a European Gino or something, and this one is no exception.
