The silhouettes you can see on this cover are those of Madars Apse and Javier Mendizabal’s whilst on the set of Cuatro Sueños Pequeños. Indeed Thomas Campbell’s new film (produced with the help of French Fred) is our main feature of this month and we have interviews with man himself as well as his lead actor Javier to accompany the photography from Brian Gaberman, Sem Rubio and Antton Miettinen.
This issue also marks the launch of a little project a few crews around Europe have been working on all summer. From now on every month we will cover a European skate scene in the mag and put out an edit to accompany it’s release on our website. The first installment focuses on Copenhagen and features Jonas Skrøder, Hjalte Halberg and many more so make sure you check it out!http://mpora.com/videos/AAdm159qxsth
We’ve also got a big interview with Joseph Biais who tells us about his desire to work in fashion, gently poking fun at the Minuit video and his second attempt at living off skateboarding. His section in Guillaume Périmony’s video will be available exclusively on our website next week so make sure you check back then.
As far as tours go we covered a Sweet Skateboards Benelux trip, a Muckefuck mission around Switzerland and an Element Europe trip to SF with Karsten Kleppan, Madars Apse and the rest of the gang (a full video recap of the destruction will be hitting our site very soon).
Alex Maison and David Castells’ Expands also made it in this issue along with our Downtown Showdown recap and a Pearls of Wisdom with Eric Dressen.
