Berlin Blowout

Some previews from yesterday’s Habitat demo. Things went ape shit. First demo in a while that made me want to throw the D2h against a wall and go shred. Well, I always want to smash the camera, because it so shit, but I don’t always want to skate after a demo. This one was different somehow. Marius skating so fast maybe, flying about everywhere. Or Kerry being so on point. Or the smile on Guru’s face when he was trying his trick. Maybe that was it. Seemed like they were having fun doing it.

This is the end though. The Habitat lot are piling back up in the campers and heading to Frankfurt where they started 17 days ago, handing in the vans and flying back to the US. It’s been a lot of fun, but it’ll be nice to sleep in a bed for a coupe of nights. Until Tuesday, when I head up to Hamburg to meet up with the Rockers Hardware crew for a shooting gallery.
