Paul Kuimet is an OG Estonian skater and an artist with an eye for urban angst and quiet depression. On Wednesday 10.3. his first solo photography show opens in Tallinn’s acclaimed Hobusepea Gallery. In the series of photographs on show, Paul investigates the effects of the economic boom -fuelled suburban sprawl, now left searching for its place in the new economic reality of the Estonian capital. The contradiction between the neatness and pride of the white facades and the interior climate of uncertainty is often as stark as the one between the past boom and the current depression.
