Benny Fairfax

Pro skater Benny Fairfax made his big-time video debut in Stereo’s 2004 release Way Out East! and also appeared in the company’s later videos A Journey Through Sound (2007) and Agency Field Report (2008). He went on to appear in a number of tour videos for Adidas (including A Five Day Excursion to Paris and Adidas in Japan), and also featured in Cliche’s Gypsea Tour video from 2010.

In 2012, he featured in an awesome video shot in New York City with the full Adidas team of Mark Gonzales, Dennis Busenitz, Silas Baxter-Neal, Lucas Puig, Pete Eldridge, Nestor Judkins, Vince del Valle, Jake Donnelly and Mark Suciu. The following year, it was announced that Benny and Danny Brady had gone pro for Palace, and Benny’s ‘Anguilla’ signature board followed soon after.

Born and brought up in London, he used his section in Sidewalk’s 2004 film In Motion to secure his place on Jason Lee and Chris Pastras’s Stereo team. Benny’s now sponsored by companies including Stereo, Adidas, Theeve, Red Bull and Autobahn, and is also a WeActivist for WeSC Clothing where he lists his main inspirations in life outside skateboarding as his friends, books, music, travelling, and being outdoors and close to the ocean.

Whether in LA, at home in the UK, or travelling around the world, Benny’s unique style and personality have always brought something new to skating. He is known for his naturally nonchalant, effortless style, perhaps helped by the fact he often works with his good friend, filmer Cole Matthews.
