Eniz Fazliov

Macedonian/Finnish skater Eniz Fazliov rode for Alien Workshop for four years, and is now sponsored by Volcom, Emerica Europe, Destructo trucks, Perus wheels and Lamina skate shop. His parts for Emerica include the Wild In The Streets tour video from back in 2008, and appearances in four videos from Timo ITÄ.

In 2012, he won the Kingpin Reader’s Choice award for European Skateboarder of the Year at the Bright Tradeshow in Berlin. He followed up that accolade with an amazing appearance in Rabies, a VX scene video from Finland’s SLP (Smells Like Pussy) crew, filmed and edited by Lurkki, which cemented his reputation as one of the standout talents in skateboarding today.

Originally from Skopje, Macedonia, where he grew up speaking Albanian, Eniz began skating after moving to Vantaa, Finland at a young age, and buying his first board in his local supermarket. During the winter in Vantaa the sun comes out for less than an hour a day and temperatures can drop to minus 50, so it is a great breeding ground for totally dedicated skaters.

This tough upbringing is why Eniz makes sure it counts every time his wheels go down, even if he is still feeling the effects of a big night’s partying. Drawing inspiration from skaters such as Marius Syvanen, Tyler Surrey and Javier Sarmiento, his parts feature moments of pure individualistic skateboarding gold, and there are a lot of parts to choose from – Eniz is on an apparently constant rotation of trips around Europe.
