Nassim Guammaz

Young Dutch skater Nassim Guammaz boasts sponsors left right and centre, including Vans, Spitfire, Element, Thunder, Volcom Clothing, BenG Skate Shop, Monster, Stance and Electric. His first big part was in Element Europe’s full-length production Get Busy Living from 2010, and he went on to feature in other films for the company including Future Nature (2012) and, most recently, Hold It Down (2013).

He now spends much of the time in the States, skating and filming with the Element, Vans and Volcom crews, gathering impressive footage that will surely leave an imprint in skate history. However, he remains based in Europe, and has featured in a number of short films from the Dutch Bombaklats crew, including the final part in a promo from 2012, and a part in the 47-minute Bombaklats in 2013.

Nassim is as interesting as he looks – he was born on 31st October 1993 in Morocco, but now lives in Spijkenisse, on the outskirts of the Dutch city of Rotterdam. He first made an impression at the age of just 11 as a short film star, winning a nod at the International Skateboard Film Festival for a documentary on him entitled ‘Plank’, and by the age of 15 he had been signed by Vans.

Nassim is a true skate rat, with a passion for the sport, an undeniable positive energy and a well-rounded skateboarding style befitting of a worldly individual. European skaters have known for many years that he has a bright future, and he is now beginning to show his skills on a global scale too.
