Here’s a little trailer for a video documenting the DIY jam that took place last summer in Hannover, Germany. It must have taken a lot of beer to decide to build some of these obstacles. The weird banana blob thing and the crazy skate-track that goes through the tent are probably my favorite.Watch this, it’s funny and might even get you building your own silly looking spots!

This Weekend: 2er On Fire III !

If you’re on the lookout for a special activity for the weekend, do yourself a favour and book a last minute flight to Hanover, Germany (or drive there if you will) to witness the third annual 2er on fire extravaganza. Since 2er has just undergone some major updates as part of the DIY Builders’ Jam featured in Kingpin’s current issue 104, I can just revise anyone to check out this gem of a DIY spot.

The Madness on Saturday will feature supreme battles for money, bitches and brew like the “Crew’sin’ Tag Team Contest” and the “High Five Destruction Derby”, plus there will be the world premiere of Levi’s documentary on the builders’ jam, live music by Zentralheizung of Death des Todes, Hermelin, Gizmo and others, a renovated bar section and DJ’s.

So really, what on earth are you waiting for… !?
