Sweet skateboards have just released a photographic board series that features work from a few of our favorite photographers, including Nikwen and Deeli! Get them while they last…

Here’s what they have to say about them:

“The idea of a board series with photos had been there for a long while and looking at the outcome it was about time we got it done.

We had each team rider choose their favourite photo from their favourite photographer.

It was not the easiest thing to get the team and photographers to decide and get it it all together but now they are here, printed on top quality wood for everyone to enjoy.

The variety of photos and styles make it a series unlike anything we have ever seen and we are happy to finally present the amazing result.”

Now here is something to look forward to! It seems like every Friday we’ll be getting our weekly dose of Sweet footage. All I hope is that the next few Omar Sweet Fridays will have more Jonas tricks in them, I just can’t get enough of that guy’s skating.

Small Wheels: Anton Myhrvold in Tenerife

In terms of productivity it seems like Sweet rider Anton Myhrvold is our European equivalent of a Mark Suciu or something. Small wheels released that insane 4 minute section about a month ago and here we are watching another three minute part, apparently all filmed on one trip to Tenerife. It’s not like its throwaway footage either, this guy is casually doing lines with switch back tail back threes!

Small wheels just posted Anton Myhrvold’s part from “Home is Barcelona” that came out last December. The least I can say is that I’m glad they did; I had no idea what I was missing. Anton’s section is insane: it’s almost as if he tries to think of the hardest tricks humans can do on their skateboards and decides to film the ones that don’t look too stupid.

There something else that I found quite striking: why the hell would you bother popping out of a switch back tail if you just switch backside bigspinned into it?
