What’s wrong With this park/spot?

Beside the fact that in our city skateparks were never part of any urbanistic plan, many skaters managed to pick the “street” part of skateboarding. Regarding this, Lacusor is the most interesting spot around here; it is a pool-shaped spot with very nice curves but as expected, it isn’t practicable anymore due to countless cracks in the concrete and a flat which has been rugging himself since long time ago!

Why should we pick This park/spot?

Because it is a very nice spot which would greatly mix oldschool and newschool skateboarding!
Because it is located in Bacau’s central Park, right in the middle of nature, with fresh air surrounding

What’s wrong With this park/spot?

The Stripe Skatepark is one of Romania’s best parks for bmx-ers. The park was built by myself, and my 3 other friend. It’s already 3 years old, and by this time it has been used every day. The covers and the layers have holes, and the wood structure itself it’s unstable. The park needs a reshape and a superficial recovery.

Why should we pick This park/spot?

The Stripe Skatepark means HOME for a lots of young people who love to ride, so it would mean everything for them, and for the older guys, like myself, who are motivated to evolve and to win contests.

What’s wrong With this park/spot?

As you can see there is no flat ground , we ride on dirt , sand and gravel . Some of the bolts are missing from the ramps and the one that are still there are sticking out , and you can easy get a flat tire.
It’s too small , the skatepark consists of the two element that can be seen in the picture and a box that we’ve moved on the road so we can at least enjoy that one , we need more elements , quarter pipes , splines , and many other.

Why should we pick This park/spot?

You cant ride with skateboards in it , we bearly can with bmx.
I think that many riders will come ride our park becouse this is the only skate park in the cities nearby.

The legde/box have been repaired 100 times, all the ramps surface is baaad as shit, and we have zero obstacles but very very much space.

Why should we pick This park/spot?

Its so relaxing, away from all the noise from the city, a very good place to practice and its good chilling everyday learning new tricks at local park which i kinda in the middle of a forest.

This park had been used by the local skaters and bikers, but now it’s horrible. The floor is cracked everywhere, the boxes and the pipes are steep. And there are other issues too. It looks worse in the life, than on the photo.

Betonowe płyty z których zrobiona jest nawierzchnia są juz leciwe i wymagają wymiany.
Marmurowy murek złożony jest z 3 płyt, które rozeszły się uniemożliwiając grindowanie.

Burn SOS 2012: Gorzenal Vert ramp

What’s wrong With this park/spot?

It is an over 15 years old vert ramp, oldest in Hungary! And it has been rotting for years. The surface has been changed years ago to a metal surface, by unskilled workers. Now it is very rusty, wavy, throws you up at the bottom. Some places the structure is broken because of the rust, and the whole thing is terribly moving under you!
It did collapse on some rollerskaters in the past, because the wind wrapped it up! Real risk to skate it. Some of us do skate it! But it is real hard, and makes you all rusty, or just simply injures you. A lot of people doesn’t skate vert because they just won’t go in this thing! Every time it is windy, we have to get out of the ramp so it won’t collapse on us.

Why should we pick This park/spot?

We need Burn to help us keep vert skateboarding alive! In Hungary there isn’t one vert ramp which is skateable. By far this is the one which is in the best shape! Probably this is our only chance to

We found this spot and we make it skateable. This is perfect place for skating and chilling with beer. We want add here so many new thing – like mini bowl for example. Old carwash for the rescue!

What’s wrong With this park/spot?

Hát hol is kezdjem… A park már elég régi, minden évben próbálkozunk restaurálással de ember és pénz hiányában ezek nem szoktak nagy sikert aratni.
A tavalyi nyáron nekiálltunk egy nagyobb renoválásnak de nem volt pénz új lapokra így csak megfordítottuk őket… Az eredmény nem lett a pályához méltó, ugyanis a BMX esek kerekei simán gördültek a kisebb nagyobb hibákon, de a gördeszkások és görkorisok számára a park egyszer s mindenkorra életveszélyessé vált… Nem is beszélve arról hogy valami jó akaró a télen begyújtotta a félcsövet, így a pálya teljesen használhatatlanná vált…BURN, ha van megmentő a földön, akkor alkérlek titeket, legyetek azok.

Sopronban egyre nagyobb az urban közösség. Növekszik az extrémsportokat űző fiatalok száma, de már évek óta nincs egy hely ahová betudnának menni is kiéli vágyaikat normális spotokon.
