In 2008 Danny Renaud fell from the 9th floor of a building, miraculously landing in a bush. He shattered both his legs, but if it wasn’t for that bush he would probably be dead. At the time everyone was convinced he would never set foot on a board again, so seeing him on Politic and doing switch front shovs down double sets comes as quite a shock!

What a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t expecting anything from this weird little edit, but it turned out to be pretty sick. I dont’t thing I’ve ever seen a video that mixes so many different formats, but since it’s clearly not trying to be serious, it kind of works. Although slightly long in parts, whoever made this managed gather clips from  most of the LA skaters that you actually care about. I’m talking about people like Raymond Molinar, Danny Montoya or British export Benny Fairfax. Joey Pressey’s even got a cool line in there, so check it out. Appart from that one exception, skating in the city of angels hadn’t looked so fun in ages.
