(Okay I kind of lied in the title, it’s not really a proper website ,just a tumblr but his work still looks amazing though…)

Vice have just released their latest episode of “skate world” and it focuses on Spain. The first good thing about it is that they decided to leave aside Barcelona for once and focus on the scenes that generally get a lot less attention. Another strong point is that most of the archive footage they managed to get there hands on is really sick, particularly the Jesus Fernandez stuff. I think some of it was taken from his part in the “Dope”… If you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend check it out as soon as you can, it’s definitely one of his best parts. Watching it always reminds me of how lucky we are to still have “Plaza” skating and legendary spots like South Bank, Hotel De Ville or Plaza Castilla in Madrid. They are the backbone of a lot of european skate scenes and I’m convinced that growing up skating this kind of “free” public space, is a lot more stimulating for a skater’s creativity than the bland, fenced out spaces that are most of our skateparks.

The article is in latest issue (110), and it’s really sick. If you haven’t seen it yet, go and get yourself a copy. As usual, the Cliché Boys came through with a banging edit to go with it. Anyway, on the cover we have Javier Mendizabal who seems to be floating backside over some sort of fluorescent inter-dimensional portal.

A French delegation from the Converse team head to New York to find out if America really is the land of the free. It probably didn’t take them too long to realise that’s its quite the opposite, but I’m sure they got over the disappointment. When you see the photos you’ll probably even be quite happy that none of the under 21′s could drink, it’s probably what made it such a productive trip!

We’ve also got an Element Europe  trip through Spain, with Nassim and the gang.

Cliché celebrate their fifteen years in the business, and it’s got everything you need in there. From JB doing a sick manual, to the young Adrien Coillard gapping out to bluntsliding the famous Rowley hubba in Lyon. The whole article is also “illustrated” by Chet Childress: pure madness. As we mourn Blueprint’s death, Sylvain Tognelli comes through with his best full length interview to this day. I can’t wait to find out where all of these ex-Blueprint guys are going to end up.

Last but not least the European Volcom team explores a land considered uncharted by most skateboarders: Slovakia. That place has got some unbelievable spots…
