The National’s first promo has just dropped and it’s a banger. Stankovic, Mackey and the rest of the gang all managed to come through with some good stuff. I’m sure a lot of people will be particularly stoked on the fresh Smithy footage, it’s sick. The mach 10 switch nose blunt line is definitely one of the highlights.

Blueprint’s demise left a lot of us wondering what was store for Smithy. Will he be a part of Jensen and Shier’s new company? Will he skate for another UK company? Will he get on a an American company? Although Slam‘s interview only partly answers these questions, you’ll be delighted to read that the future is looking bright for Essex’s finest and we’ll be enjoying a welcome clip from his new sponsor sooner that we think.

Nike’s ‘Go Skateboarding Day 2012′

As a special treat for Go Skateboarding Day, Nike are holding a little party at BaySixty6 for everyone that comes along.
Sean Malto, Youness Amrani, Lewis Marnell and Wieger Van Wageningen, alongside Fernando Bramsmark, Tim Zom, Chris Jones, Neil Smith, Daniel Kinloch, Joey Pressey and Korahn Gayle will be making their way around some of London’s most iconic spots, including Southbank and Stockwell, finishing up the day at with a demo and signing session at BaySixty6.
The evening session will also act a a send off for the current BaySixty6 set up as Nike will be start renovation works on the park the next day.

If you’re interested in heading along then you should get onto Nike Skateboarding’s Twitter and Instagram for clues about where they’ll be.

The Drive: Blueprint Day 8

The final day and we had arrived at our final destination: Cologne. Once the last tricks had been wrapped up there was definitely a sense a relief; through all the bad weather and everything else we had made it. Stoked!

Day number 7 and we decide to swap Brussels for Antwerp, I don’t think we wanted to sit in that bar anymore.

Day 6, Brussels again, and yet more rain. Rain meant that tasks got handled!

Stephane Larance challenge at the double set? Smith says, “yep”.

This guy took care of us, thanks John, you’re the local ripper, wherever you are!

We tried to find dry stuff but the residents of Brussels weren’t feeling us this time.

Day number 4 meant we were escaping the wild times of Paris and heading for the slightly more subdued (and rainier) Belgium.

Later Paris!

Petrol station food is the same the world over: CRAP!

Jensen and Smithy look on as Shier takes advantage at the European Commission before the rain and darkness set in.

Our favourite bar in Brussels, we spent hours in this place.

Knox loved it too.

The Drive: Blueprint Day 4

Day number 4 was Paris once again, unsurprising given the scale of the place. Today we focused more on the outskirts.

Here was our zone of choice, Sonic the Hedgehog is up there somewhere.

Probably the best meal of the week; wood fired pizza from a little camper van, this guy kills it!
