I remember going to this spot, seeing the gap and asking one of my friends the classic “do you reckon someone could ollie that?” I came to the conclusion that maybe guys Jeremy Wray or Zach Wallin could maybe just about clear it but it still seemed unlikely. This photo of Oscar from issue 109 blew my mind the first time I saw it… The little Frenchman is on fire!

Not much is better in skateboarding than a good, solid ollie. Same goes for its frontside version on ramps. One of those things you can’t wait to learn when you start out. Also one of those moves that won’t stop to grow on you. They are, as Chris puts it, “the fine wine” of skateboarding.

Roland Hirsch, aka Hirschi – Berlin-powerhouse, fixie-fanatic, mean ollie-machine; to make it short: A person which is no fan of going small or slow on anything done – is the latest addition to the Antiz squad. A perfect fit if you ask me! Seems like for now it’s a distribution deal, but I’m pretty sure, this will go far…
