Last weekend the summer fest at Lennie Burmeister’s parents barn, out in the middle of no-where, went of in traditional manner – good old cordial crazyness, going on for almost two decades now. Here is a little clip by Mark Nickels to show what went down on the skating side of things. Thanks to everyone who made this a special one all over again…

All entries of Transworld’s Skate & Create are really impressive, most of them going really high-end on the eye. However the Etnies one takes a bit of a different approach and takes us back to the good ol’ early nineties. Have you happened to already been skating then, you’ll even recognise some familiar faces from those days.

While this has already been pretty amazing, what Etnies are doing here, re-creating the 90′s world park, a place where skateboarding was made at the time, and reviving the feel footage that came out of there had, is just genius; if you ask me. Rad idea, guys.

To get the full 90′s experience, the only thing maybe missing is this…

Light. Shape. Color. – Lights, camera, magic! Very pleasing to the eye is adidas’ contribution to Transworld’s Skate&Create comp. Have a cruise over there, and witness some optical illusions and sick skating of Busenitz and the boys. – Amazing how Nestor’s trucks are dangling in the air, hanging loose on every trick he does… Very nice one, guys!
