To be honest with you, the fact that Mike Mo stars in a Dr.Pepper commercial isn’t even that surprising. We come across this kind of thing all the time now, so it’s not really the reason why I posted this.  I chose to put this up because I thought people would enjoy Dr.Pepper’s use of very precise skate-related statistics. According to them: 9 975 006 people skate,  200 000 can tre flip and 152 are pro. They must have done some very thorough research to come up with such precise data because most of us don’t even know if we can tre flip ourselves. I land a tre flip every 6 months, does that make me a part of this elite 200 000 group? The whole notion of being a”pro skateboarder” is also quite complex these days, I wonder how they tackled that problem…Do you think they took into account those who skate for a living but currently don’t have a board out? What about the skaters who turn themselves pro for their own companies? I guess Carroll and Howard did that with Girl, so Mike Mo probably helped them out with that one…
