What day was this again? First full day in Riga, I’m guessing. Morning session at the park, some arsing around for ages, trying to shake things into shape, then looking for stuff to skate around town and back to the park for another amazing night session at VEF.

This ended up being our base for three nights.

Supermarket breakfast at the deck every morning - after last nights session; before this morning's session.

The VEF area is full of half empty industrial buildings, occupied by artists among others. This weekend Riga celebrated White Nights festival. The artists squatting this building put on a spoken word event, some gallery shows and gigs. Couldn't understand a word, but it was a pretty hypnotic event anyway.

Yup, that's the park.
