Since being subscribed to what can only be described as an awesome publication, i struggled to vote.
But alas one of the Films i viewed (via the DVD supplied) gave me a slight SWEET spot ( yes i just did it).
Upon seeing the voting. I now feel bad, as all the films are epic! And the epic manliness needs to be voiced, Shared and enjoyed by all!

I was quivering with antizapation for these edits to come out, I couldn’t handle the wait, I tried to pass the time by collecting ancient jartifacts, until my friend said to me ‘if your feeling blue, print out some sweet skating posters to the pass the time’. I was like thanks man your really in your element today.

So sick to see comps where skateboarding’s creative aspects are released onto the scene. may this make its way across to our bretheren in the states! although America may have the best technical skill but it is Europe that has the most entertaining and joyous videos purely because we hunt so hard to find the spots, and we shred the spots even if you need a tetnus jab after skating them! Maybe one day our pavements with be as smooth as the berrics as they seem to be in california. and maybe our parks will be perfect to every last square inch of comcrete and coping, but then the creativity may drain away quicker than we could ever imagine. Blueprint all the way! my favourite company always!

I cannot be thinking anymore because I like all the editions and most of the riders are excellent… but we need still supporting our local scene if we want see more things happening around us… soooo… I go for Element… plus, most of the Element riders are really young, I would like to see more of them in the future, then will be insane.I don´t have time to think, I just wanna still skating for life!!

Man, Elements keep refining the elementals – you know those guys have it on lock down! But these vids are so sick they have me pining for better weather so I could get out there and rip it up. Too much rain lately.
the element team should win because they have so much dutch and belgian rippers and like already said in kingpin a few times “the amount of good skaters coming from the benelux area is incredible and thats why when the shots are called in european skateboarding they are mostly called in flemish”.

I love Labels like Blueprint and Antiz. The riders seem to be enjoying skateboarding alot more than the ‘bigger’ brands. These things keep skateboarding fun and alive.

Well man, i´m against the majority.
I think JART is the best team in this video.
I recognize ANTIZ skates very cool, with that tricks in the half ultrahipermega-vertical (one skater wears a sweatshirt of Nike sb like the one i bought this summer in bcn jajaja), or JSJ in SWEET… the retro music of BLUEPRINT and those style !! also the man at the end of this part… the goal of Nassim in ELEMENT and the beatbox, their oldschool style or the bs 360 in the last skatepark…
BUT JART IS THE BEST although for now they are the less voted.
The music of this part is magnificient, they are the bests doing tricks with no-wheels and whithout shoes, the round at the end of the video when they do a lot of tricks like blunts and noses in that concrete curb is incredible. And also we can see an amazing NICK FIORINNI, dominating street, rail and ramp; who gives us an incredible Flip in that gap. He past three tests in one shot !!.
Also, i thing País Vasco, the city where they start, is one of the bests cities in Spain for skating, specially bilbao.
For those all reasons and adding my dificulty to write in english, JART must win.

basicly i turned 14 yesterday and i have been sk8ing since like 3 months ago and because of what ive seen element do it have made me sk8 crazy and because of the i can double varial and loads of other stuff there team are like amazing and looking at them has inspired me to sk8
Jart is the best edit there. The decks are just as awesome as their trip.
Blueprint is the best ! The style and tricks of every rider is so different from usual videos, + the editing and music ! It’s good to see a different type of video and original tricks, it changes from all the videos we’re used to see every day. It’s original, that’s why it’s so good.
European skating is more along the lines of true skateboarding in my eyes.When was the last time you saw anybody doing a 360 flip to nosegrind to tre flip out?As an American I know most of us prefer flash over function,makes me want to move to Finland and skate with people who actually “get it”. Skate or Die!!
That blueprint video is inspirational, not only in its perfect edit, but the blues music makes for a great feel, also some stupidly slick camera work and to top it off crazy street skating. I think this should be the blueprint for all skate videos. I know what I’m watching before my next session.

all the edits are so sick because they make me wanna go outside and skate but it’s raining every single day now here in hollands so i can’t skate except during the week-end when i go to the indoor park in amsterdam wich costs so much because of the train, entrance to the park and dinner on the way back home so if i could get the decks i whould spare a lot of money on buying decks and can go to the indoor park in amsterdam more often

I laughed the whole way through all of these vids, especially Blueprints, it was insane with all the synchronized skating, the massive HI FIVE with that woman and the random drunk dude singing nonsense at the end. BRILLIANT!

i think the JART is the cleanest pic of them all it has the most steez in it…becuz of just how simple it looks with the bned out ollie and the surrounding of the basket ball court showing the epic height and then the style behind the skate boarding with the graffitti covering the area itself …u dont need the most tech trick the biggest stait case or the most detailed lighting and editing to get a dope ass picture,,,just look at JART and from what i think the simple look within the picture speaks for itself ..just look at that fat boned out ollie and then from the spot that the picture was taken u can easly tell it was a big drop just look at the basket ball court and the skaters height….my choice hands down goes to JART!

so if you read my comment from yesterday you noticed i was psyched that it wasn’t raining for like the first time in 2 weeks so me and some friends went to our local park and after an hour or so we thought let’s go skate the street so we rode our bike’s to the first spot and as we arrived there it started raining again so thats whi i’m mad pissed you know what i say time to built an indoor park in my hometown

The JART video in my honest opinion is pretty entertaining, aside from video quality and excellent choice of music – the personel on the team displayed excellent use of tricks which made the video itself more enjoyable!
dosen’t matter the company.. all those companies have good decks. all i need is a 7ply maple to ride nothing else, because skateboarding is about having fun.

I think that blueprint should definitely win. but that’s beside the point as skating isn’t about winning or losing its about doing something you enjoy and have a laugh whilst doing it. I nearly quit skating as my best friend who got me into skating moved away to Bristol. and I didn’t have anybody to skate with. so i went to hebbden bridge as suggested by a friend and i met mike wright he got me skating and encouraged me to keep skating. then i came across another problem of being called a mosher and shit for skating but to be fairly honest i couldnt care less what people think and it doesnt matter what they think if you like to skate you skate

I don’t skate myself but my bro’s do and I want to be Santa.
ahhh skateboarding.. the pass time of adrenaline junkie artists who paint the world with their motions. The masterpieces that only last for a few seconds and leave no trace other than a scratch or blood stain but fill each skaters world with joy and satisfaction, then leaves us craving for the next hit.
The exitement we feel while travelling in the van to the next spot is met with the anticipation of not knowing what is going to go down, at one end of the scale is that we will bare witness to or create legend, then again we could be let down because the floor is too rough, an injury occurs, the security give us the boot or the session could simply be rained off, spirits dampen and exitement is lost but the craving is always inside crawling round our heads giving us the ideas and planning how we will get our next fix, and when the oportunity arises we seize, it is never certain that we will get the chance again.
skateboarding is in my eyes, in my peripheral vision, constantly searching for potential places for me to perform my physical art. I cannot travel anywhere without urban obstacles screaming at me to perform on them, these spots are now stained in my mind. The mental photograph I took is now printed on the back of my eyelids reminding me to get my fix on them. I go back to the spot when I get a chance to break away from my other life, I loosen up and get into my self-created mindset built on adrenaline and passion, I am in my element, I can now release my artistic side that is made up of grinding and travelling through the air. In these moments nothing else matters and I feel more alive than ever. Im sweating, im bleeding, im exhausted and I am satisfied.. for now.
All right, I tried to be your friend, but yuo didn’t! so now i’m gonna burn my board and i’ll start up with rollerbladin’ and scooterin’ at the same time! and i’ll be everyday on the local spots rollin’ and screaming lady gaga’s songs! ahahah give me those boards!my local skateshop is gonna desapear!

well actually i dnt know much bot skateboarding just need a new deck as i snapped mine doing a 180 down a stair set :L
I personnaly think the drive is better than king of the road because king of the road the winner is only determined by points and jake phelps but here there is a point winner and a winner for the best edit so the skate community actually decides who is the winner.
AND BY THE WAY KINGPIN WHY IS THERE THRASHER SKATER OF THE YEAR, OZZIE SKATER OF THE YEAR BUT NO KINGPIN EUROPEAN SKATEBOARDER OF THE YEAR YOU SHOULD TRY THAT
Next year there must be PERUScrew on the drive!!!
Love this Kingpin. You should do more of these. It was a hard decision choosing my favourite one, before today I had been voting element. But today I decided to watch them all again, they are all fantastic, and one of these edits won over my love for element (following the Nyjah Huston video which is insane). The team which I am now voting for are sweet, I love the team, the tricks, the style, how unique they are and much more. This edit really does make you want to go out there in the horrible weather and skate. Cannot wait for next summer!

best skate film i have seen yet it was good to see my two favorite teams jart and blueprint in as well i love skateboarding so much and seeing all those sick tricks being pulled made me want to go outside even in this crappy weather but i really want blueprint to win as there edit was the coolest and most thought out one

I think element had some SWEET edits of the tricks that were preformed perfectly to such an extent that I’m wondering why they don’t have the lead in the votes. The last trick was EPIC, just every thing about it was Brilliant. There is no other way to describe the shear awesomeness of the entire video. I hope they get the most votes!!!

Blueprint because they have epic style when skating, when filming, when editing and even when theyre sleeping! And you cant beat the original vx1000 footage!

Element team should be win,because they have Nassim.When I saw FS180 over the rail , I say damn dude it’s so fucking amazing.Last year I met with him on summer woodcamp in Poland ,I never see such cool guy and skate,he does difficult tricks and still chillin,this is really interesting.So high five Nassim and good luck for element team.

i hate that in all those edits there are all these awesome spots but i can’t skate them because you don’t know where it is or you can’t go there. also don’t you just hate when your friends are talking about the american scene when the european scene is just as good but we don’t have like street leauge the x-games or maloof that’s why i read kingpin to stay on top of the news happening in the european scene i have a s tack of like 45 kingpins and only 1 thrasher wich was a gift.

The challenges rock! They were all carried out brilliantly by the teams, especially the riding only on bearings challenge, that was sick. Did you notice the Antiz guy who popped his bearing at 1:47 in the video. I have had bad experiences with those exploding little tikes (bearings)…
i now have watched the drive 15 times and im not sick of it best skate film i have ever seen and all the teams were great but i love this dvd so much as blue print and jart are my 2 favorite teams ever plus kingpin is my favorite mag ever go every issue form issue 24 but still blue print are the best so

so i just finished the new january kingpin and first of all it was a great magazine especially the interview but i would also like say that i was so pumped to read thet you are gonna do an european skater of the year because i posted a comment that said that like 2 days ago
The one I liked is that of a SWEET because the skatepark where I like skating a lot and are very useful
EVERYONE involved in The Drive is a massive legend, obviously we got this dvd in winter but when did these guys actually do The Drive, if they did it in autumn or winter can you please tell me where they got that sun from. I would quite like a sun as we used to have one here in England but it seems to have disappeared recently and this has resulted in a lack of skating, which is really rather annoying.

Hello first of all I wanted to wish a happy Christmas and new skate gave you to continue this sport.
I think all editions of The Drive are great and it costs a lot to decide which to vote but I have decided on the Sweet because of the places where I prefer to skate if that’s why I decided for this.

ah so for the first time in weekst i had a full day of street skating and it was so much fun chilling with my friends and filming some tricks and i learned fs smiths on like 70-80cm high ledge and when i got home a great christmas eve with my whole family and a great dinner

You know that moment when you see something that just blows your mind like a llama riding a motorbike while wearing a poncho, well that happened when i watched blueprints video! The music was classy the filming was fucking excellent and it was on a vx1000! And the skating was just epic! Blueprint for the win!

Finally its boxing day, where the fight between the teams comes to its dramatic conclusion, in the blue corner we have Sweet skateboards, the worlds most favoured boxing, and of course skating team so far! And in the black corner we have Antiz in second place! But who will win, only time shall tell, let the battle begin!
Im thinking Blueprint should win now after seeing their separate challenges edit. That was genuinely funny with the trashy DIY spot and going down the stairs on skis with the thunderbirds style music, I hope that they win!
Well this big fight between great fighters coming to an end and is less for us all to see who the winners I hope one of them is me.

It seems that the difference between editions not increased or diminished that means more cane to and to give those votes to a brand that you like got the win.
SWEET I think going to win because the lion’s share of votes and winning over others far so keep voting to SWEET.

It now seems obvious that Sweet are going to win, NOT that that means the other teams are bad as they were all brilliant, I think that Blueprint or Jart should win overall. But we cant all have our own way. Good luck on getting those boards guys
