It’s with great pleasure that I bring you Norway’s latest independent video: Oslo 5. Jørgen Østbye Johannessen’s creation offers a combination of good looking spots and creative skateboarding whilst transporting you into one of the most underrated scenes in Europe. All of the parts are worth watching, but two particularly stood out for me: Henrik Lund and Karsten Kleppan. Henrik’s curled wrists, Jensen-like push and tasteful trick selection sets the tone for the rest of the video whilst Karsten’s raw power keeps you on the edge of your seat, eager to see more. The determination that comes across in his skating really makes you want pick up your board and charge at the first thing you see… I can’t wait to see what he’s filmed for the Element video.
Karsten’s seection is the one above the text and below you’ll find Henrik’s as well as the full video.
