I remember going to this spot, seeing the gap and asking one of my friends the classic “do you reckon someone could ollie that?” I came to the conclusion that maybe guys Jeremy Wray or Zach Wallin could maybe just about clear it but it still seemed unlikely. This photo of Oscar from issue 109 blew my mind the first time I saw it… The little Frenchman is on fire!

I’m sure most of you are already aware of this but Cliché’s Bon Voyage is out on dvd and iTunes now and Maxime’s stuff in it is absolutely ridiculous. Here’s Nikwen’s shot of his switch ollie at Hotel De Ville, Lyon taken from his interview in issue 112.

It doesn’t exactly come as a surprise but I might as well mention it: Kevin Rodrigues now officially rides for Polar! Congrats K-Rod! One of his little Parisian buddies (a fellow Blobby) is also rumoured to be getting boards but it’s probably still too early to tell where that will be going… Anyway, I love Kevin’s skating and I’m glad a legit company is backing him so I’ll use this as an excuse to post Pontus’ switch wallie photo from issue 111 (shot by Sam Ashley).

No matter how much we enjoyed Mauro’s part, with 50 new sections coming out every day it’s easy for us to forget all about it.
